Got my partners and am super excited to get started!  I think I probably have most of the fabric I need in my box of fabrics, so I can get started Smiley  Hi group 1!

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. . . . I would rather have cheese.

Okay well think I got all the questions done LOL. Will place order for background fabric. black and white.

I have printed out a few of the blocks and shall print out more later, I have the groups cards all written out and each persons bag is set up with card and ready to go LOL

just a little excited

My really high tech way of picking donniegirl blocks.

I asked each member of my family to pick a number between 1-25. What they picked is the block number LOL.

well and wonderment

Wish I was that organized. I have such a hard time remembering to include a note (And I'm a semi-retired English teacher! You'd think that would be the first thing I did.)

Ooh yeah Ziplocks are the way to go!  I printed out each person's questionnaire & put them in a Ziplock last time, and then started sorting fabrics into those Ziplocks.  I think I'm going to start with the bookcase blocks this time...I think.

Wow, you people are so organized. I'm just going to start cutting, no other planning added Cheesy But then again, I'm a computer-always-on-and-never-more-than-two-yards-away sort of person... so I've got the entire world of info right here.

donniesgirl: I think it will, I read over each block, and yeah some might be a bit harder for me then others, but that is what learning is all about LOL.

And since most find it odd that I have no fear of any block and have only been quilting a short time and do the blocks I do and my answer is always the same, since I have been teaching myself, there is no one to tell me I can't do something. I simply pick what I like and keep trying till I get it to the point that it looks the way I want it too. LOL

I am glad a couple of you mentioned how you organize the different blocks.  I wasn't sure how to keep everything straight. Smiley
I did get a couple blocks printed then my printer started acting up; hopefully it will cooperate today.

Now I have to go through my fabric and see if I am in need of anything. Smiley
