So, I realized my very first ATC totally sucked. Cheesy I knew I could do better so I tried harder the second time. Mine are all made from pieces of scrap book paper, stamps, and clip art images. I know, it's not really "true" art but, I'm not the best at drawing  Undecided I'm interested in future swaps but I'm nervous that people won't like my style/art work. There is always room to improve and I'm sure I will get better over time. Artistic talent is in my blood  Cheesy

Here is what I came up with last week...

I re-made my first circus version

Hot Glam Girl!

Seamstress Beauty

Memory Book

Strike a Pose

Sorry if some of the images are blurry. I tried to resize them for the site but it made them blurry in the process.

I like the 3D necklaces on the glam girl ATC especially.  Smiley

I like them all! I draw but I can't collage to save my life. I like your style!

I like the "2:30" on the circus one. It attracts the viewer's eye first and keeps the clown from dominating it. (Which they so want to do!)

These are great!  I don't think you should feel shy about them at all.

Collage is tough, I think you are doing great and I would be happy to receive one of your atc's, join us!!  Ditto to gozer, I find it much easier to draw than collage, but I keep trying.

A tip someone gave me, that I often forget is to outline your cutouts with black or brown marker or ink...so that the harsh lines of white don't show.  I honestly can't tell if you did or didn't just thought you might like the tip too.

Thanks for the tip Dawn Smiley I didn't outline the images at all. I have really tiny hands that makes it easier to cut precisely around images. I knew my tiny hands would be useful for something! LOL  Grin For really hard to cut tiny spaces on images I use an X ACTO knife.

I really love these and I love making and receiving collages!  I'm going to have to post a few to get my nerve up to trade!
