The Hello Kitty sewn scarf is so lovely and fun!  Also love the BIG polka dots!

The ruffly scarf is very lovely--was that yarn difficult to use?  Is it knit or crochet?  I have always picked up that yarn but was afraid to try it!

How was the pink and brown(?) scarf done?  I love the look of the stitch...is it crochet?  Also, the fabric one is fun looking...dang...two scarves!

The hedgehog is so cute!  Sometimes lucky accidents happen!  Again, two scarves...wow!  Both are nice!

aww---how is the scarf modeled by the cutiepie baby made?  I love the color!

EASY Peasy.........it's knitted.  go to you tube and search for sashay scarf.  there's actually a guy's video that is really easy to understand.  But my SIL taught me in about 15 min and I don't knit. AT. ALL.

And for the record, the sashay is easier to work with than the Starbella, but the results are surprisingly different.

YES!!! Nolansmomster, you are correct.  This was my first using the Starbella.  I liked the effect better but yes, it's a tad harder to get used to.  :-)

I'm not positive - Megz1027 would have to answer for sure - but I think she did multiple long rows of single crochet using Lion Homespun.

The baby is adorable and I am happy you both like it. It is indeed lions brand homespun. And it was quite fun to make because I got to try out a new technique. It was finger knitted. It was great using my fingers as a loom of sorts!

I have seen some awesome finger knitting in my Japanese knit books!  How fun, Megz!

I am definitely going to have to swap for one of those patchy scarves....I love patchwork! (and the Dr. Who scarf needs to be posted in the Dr. Who craftalong as yet another project for us to admire from the show! Cheesy)
