Finally picked up an item I needed to start my large today! I totally thought I had some, but when I took a closer look I didn't have enough. Also making good progress on my medium =)

I have sat with wondering what to make for a little while now, and it came to me in a flash - so now incredibly happy. I'm going away for a retreat this weekend so going to take my sewing machine and a bundle of charity shop rescues and upcycled something wondrous for a very special person

I went to the store this week to pick up some supplies.  I  have plans in my head already for some stuff to create, but I have to finish off my crafts for the IYP swap first.  Being out of town for work for a week really put me back a ways.  Now I'm working a ton of overtime just to catch up. Tonight and this weekend are for catching up on crafting!

I am back..was in London for a couple of days, meetings and dodging hypothermia..I didn't pack enough clothing and it was bloody freezing..

so I am now home, wrapped in a blanket, the central heating was turned off so my house is like a freezer..once I (and my craft room) thaw..I will start crafting again..

I finally decided what I'm making, and then immediately changed my mind. Argh! I've got an all days sew with my quilt guild tomorrow at the local fabric store, so I will definitely get some things done tomorrow, just need to stop waffling about it tonight and get the supplies ready to take with me in the morning!

Life is just hectic and I am so short on time lately. I am also unsure of what to make for my partner as she is a lovely lady but after a thorough stalking of her, the items she would like are out of my talent zone.  I've made three items but would like to make one more.

I'm going to quickly peruse my list of items I thought I cold possibly make her that I thought she would like, and if I can find something, I will stop at Joanne's after dropping DD off at religion.
