Crafty Detective Rd. 8 (Signups 1/18-2/14; sendouts 3/20)

My favorite fruit to eat would have to be bosc pears. When I was a child, my grandparents would take me grocery shopping with them and I never asked for a candy bar, I would always ask for a bosc pear and I would eat it down to it's stem... seriously.  Though I love kawaii fruit as well. I have two cherry trees, so I get that little treat every other year, nom nom nom.

My favorite vegetable is tougher to pin down... I love carrots, beets, potatoes, lettuce, spinach, peas, green beans... it's easier to pin point the ones I don't like... broccoli and cauliflower.

what is your favourite fruit? My dad got me hooked on blueberries growing up (they're his absolute favorite fruit of all time and is not afraid to let that be known ). I also really like watermelon, cherries (love most cherry-flavored stuff though the fruit itself is always best naturally), and baked cinnamon apples (okay, raw apples are good too, but they always just make me hungrier o.O).

what is your favourite vegetable? That one's a bit tricky, though I'd probably have to say corn or sweet potatoes (assuming we're counting potatoes as veggies ), though things like peas and carrots are also great, especially cooked with a bit of butter or glaze or what have you.

Haven't quite started crafting though I did buy a bunch of the supplies I still needed (forgot one kinda-sorta important one though so looks like I'm waiting to start on that particular craft for now ). I'm hoping to at least look over the pattern tomorrow to make sure I know what I'm getting myself into. Kinda trying new territory on this one so I'm hoping to keep this as painless as possible.

Fave fruit - gotta be a mango, preferably handed to me by a gorgeous fruit seller on the beaches if Jamaica !!! Seriously though, nothing fills me with the sunny warmth of life more than a mango.
Fave vegetable - peas !!!! Freshly picked with my children on a spring morning, sit down in the field with some feta, a drizzle of oil and a bit of bread - and suddenly in the middle of our gardening chores we have feasts for kings (and the queen says my son)

I' have finished one small and am going to start with the large soon. I'm still undecided on what to do for the medium.

My favourite fruits are raspberries and I also love passion fruit and mangos, but I rarely get ripe ones here, so we don't eat a lot of them.
I couldn't say what my favourite vegetable is, I love ALL of them:) but maybe, if I really really had to choose, it would be very ripe tomatoes fresh from the garden.

what is your favourite fruit?  I'm torn between apples and oranges.  If I can have peanut butter, I'll pick apples.  By itself, definitely oranges

Current job: graphic design at a newspaper...been here 6 years. I call it the sinking ship

My husband was also in the newspaper business before he left to stay home with our son...he uses the same phrase any time he talks about the paper!

That made me laugh out loud!! Sad, but true. Mostly. I don't want to start a "is print dead" debate here...feels like work. So on to fun stuff, like answering questions.

what is your favourite fruit? Toughie. I think lemons (yes, I eat them occasionally), grapefruit, strawberries, blueberries and raspberries.

what is your favourite vegetable? Artichokes. Hands down.
