Hey All!

I took a sculpture class specifying in large scale lost wax and styrofoam pieces that would then be made into bronze.  I didn't turn anything into bronze, but I did cover my piece of styrofoam in polar bear goodness. Well, at least I shaped it that way and then covered it in plaster for a little more security.  So this is my wee beast!

The technique she taught in the class was drawing a front and a side, marking that on the styrofoam and then on a band saw cutting it out. It was a technique that really worked. It made all of the rest of the sculpting a lot easier!

Neat, huh? I like em.. now I just need to give him a name!
