So most of what I've been spinning lately has been mindless, working up my dye experiment. Find the whole post here. Here are some thumbnails:

But I have spun some actually store-bought roving that I got from my lovely partner in the recent fiber swap. Look!
It's 2 ply. I just ripped the roving in half and then plied them together. Rather mindless but that's the joy of spinning. I don't remember the yardage because I lost the tag I had written out for it. Maybe I should deep clean my desk now like I've been meaning to do for the last week?

I really like the way that one came out, too.

At first my fave was the swap yarn, and then I looked at the larger pics of the thumbnails.... now I can't decide!  They are all delicious!

They're both lovely, but I think my favorite is the swap one. I especially love bright colors when it's cold outside. They warm you up from the inside out! Smiley

They look awesome, but I especially love how the Sheep Shed Punta came out! Smiley
