After reading delectably ghastly rhyming from this crew,

I must admit I need to work on my wordplay wit,
This swap is the key so please let me in it!!

This swap I passed by; I pretended not to see.
"No more stuff!" cried I, though I love Mr. Gorey.
But all was lost when with one fatal tap
I glimpsed the list of those who've signed up:
Sheepblue and Racky, Cackle and Phizzy,
And Knicker of course, the Mistress of Busy.
How can I pass up my favourite swap peeps
And new Craftster friends I'm eager to meet?
So I've just sent in my form, no point in delay.
I daren't risk missing the deadline: Friday.

Unfortunately I will be away without Internet access until the 23rd - but that just means my excitement to find out my swap partner will be hitting the ceiling!! Apologies to my prospective partner for not PM'ing straight away  can't wait to get my Gorey on!!

I have to admit, tho sheepishly so
My knowledge of Gorey is woefully low.
I vaguely have heard of children meeting their end
In a ghastly and morbid game of pretend.
I've seen a few drawings, spindly and black,
That I attribute to him for the cheer that they lack.
My work is too playful, sometimes tongue in cheek
Too light and airy for true Gorey-speak.
I need a partner with whom I can establish rapport
And plumb the morbid depths and darkness explore.
My survey is in, I look to the masters.
I am ready to learn from Gorey-wise Craftsters.
