The only difference between ivp and any other swap is that you ask some one to be your partner th organizers dont do the partnering. Then you treat it like any other swap. I hope that helps.

chughes!  Chughes is correct; it's just like any other swap, just you pick your partner.  I will have a post in the swap thread for People Looking for Partners.  jennie & I were thinking that if you were going to craft one awesome piece that you just might want to pick your partner....maybe you have a Craftster Crush on someone....or perhaps you have someone you just would love to craft for.  Don't be shy; PM a request.  I promise eventually someone will say yes!   Oh, and y'all can start asking at any time.

How do I join a IYP if I don't really have a specific partner in mind to invite?

I can list you in the Peeps Looking for Partners.  You can add what crafts you admire & crafts you do for extra info.  I promise someone is looking for you.  Though if you post in here that you are looking for a partner, I bet you will get one before the swap even starts!

Oh, and can I just say  I love it when you make swaps with extended crafting time!!!!

I do love a long crafty time because my RL is so crazy that I want to relax and enjoy my crafting, especially HP Crafting!

This is far too unbelievably tempting. Whether I dare try and add this into my life this 9wks I'm not sure of yet. I have no idea who I could be partners with, especially since most of you all are masters in your skillsets. I really love receiving all sorts of handmade things (...an may or may not have a collection of HP and HP/Trefoil camp stuff on by bookshelf), but in terms of making things I mainly dabble in papercrafts and paintings with some jewelry thrown in here and there. OTHPT4 shall certainly be a must though.

Hi mkmusicmaniac!  We are always happy to see a new swapper.  Make sure you read Craftster Swap Info Guide and Swap FAQs; both are extremely helpful to new (and veteran) swappers.  Though you will not be able to participate in the HP swap (because you must have been a member of Craftster for at least one month and have 15 posts to participate), I promise there will be more in the future.  Also, if you enjoy HP crafty fun, I invite you to come on over to our HP Craftalong.  We are in our Winter Semester, but no worries, you can join in the fun anytime!

After some contemplation I think I am in for this swap!   

I don't have a specific partner in mind at the moment; but here is some info about my crafting...  The majority of my crafting revolves around quilting/sewing, embroidery and knitting.  I do dabble in other things like jewelry making and polymer clay and I'm always game to try a new technique.

My middle name begins with the letter P.  Whenever people see it on things, they ask what it is.  I tell them to guess.  They ALWAYS guess Penny, on either their first or second guess.  I have to look at them sternly and say, "Do you really think my parents named me Jennie Penny?"  Then they look sheepish. 

But secretly, I kind of want a puppy named Penny, so we could be Jennie & Penny together.
