I'm participating in the Harry Potter Knit/Crochet House Cup on Ravelry, and this term, my goal is to see how much yardage I can use up.  So, I made myself a Doctor Who scarf... in 16 days.  Woot!

wow, you are great, in 16 days! i once knit myself a very long scarf which took me 2 years to complete (it was before i love knitting but again it still takes me ages to do that)..

The best part, in my opinion, is: if it's really super cold outside when I'm, say, waiting for the bus, I can wrap this thing around my head and neck several times to completely block out the weather.  Cheesy

Only 16 days?!? I've been working on one since early December and I'm almost to the long green part. I've had to do a couple smaller projects in between so that might be a factor, but still. It feels like it's taking forever but its pretty satisfying watching it grow. Quite an enjoyable project and you're very impressive!
