I feel like I should be able to wrap my brain around this, but has anyone used Barbara Walker's mosaic knitting technique in circular knitting?

I've done a couple of squares I really liked, but I'm thinking of making a hat with the slip stitch, and I'd like to knit it in one piece.  How do you handle the instructions to knit the "wrong side" when you're only doing the "right side"?

If you are just plain knitting on the "wrong side" then you would just purl that row.

When in doubt, use more glue!

Her instructions say to simply repeat the same actions; knit what you knit, slip what you slipped.  So I guess I simply knit two rounds the same way.

I don't know why this seems to be so difficult for me to wrap my brain around -- I seem to have trouble thinking in three dimensions!

Luckily, I've just finished my other two projects, and can start a swatch tonight.  I'm sure it will make more sense when I have needles in my hands!

I don't know why I was concerned -- it turned out fine, and I'm already planning some purses and bags using her patterns!

Yay!  It looks good!  Will probably be super fun once felted.
