just to update have tornado watch or warning in my neck of the woods. so my internet service will be crappy the next few days so i may not be on very much from now until sunday or monday. i am still here and will have my pictures taken over the next couple of days so i can post when the computer behaves

I will be praying for your safety!  My family was under tornado watches and warning yesterday.  Thankfully they are safe.

We had the tornado watches and warnings, too. Fingers crossed for all of us!

I just got my package from Koreena, and she spoiled me!
Here's everything dumped out on the bed, with my cat who decided to investigate.


Some closeups. She sent me tons of jewelry to repurpose, lots of lovely beads, findings, wire, chains, pendants,tubes to store beads (which I needed!), screenprinting ink, a set of paintbrushes, two baggies of lovely floss, a wooden tray, glitter, nifty wooden pieces, a pretty bookmark from Korea,and more.


I love the pendants! I need to do something special with the black bird one, it's nifty! And the package of smokey glass beads behind the bird? I have a few like that in my stash already-now I have enough to make something!

I received a great package from ninaprettyballerina today - I am feeling inspired just looking at all the goodies!


There is all kinds of stuff in here - buttons, beads, ribbon, some cool yarn I've already had to retrieve back from the cat twice.  There are lots of great eyes to add to stuffies, and these awesome little crochet flowers I'm already scheming how to use.



Oh, and Nina, how did you know I needed this stamp desperately for work.

I hate International shipping! I want my packages to arrive the day before I send them. No patience for trans-oceanic deliveries. Ninaprettyballerina, I'm sending strong psychic vibes to our postal services to hurry things along. Maybe if you do the same then your package might arrive soon. Hope so!

I hate it too!!    i mean i LOVE it cos it means something is sent to me from the other side of the world - how exotic haha - but it means i have to wait.  I cant believe its taken more than 2 weeks for my packages to be received sometimes!  It makes me wonder though.  The plane ride only takes a day...
