I received from MaxParadise yesterday. The fronts:

The one on the right is a poem about feelings - sometimes bright and sometimes dark. The other is "We'll make it if you believe" over and over in different styles of lettering.

The feelings prompt says : Take a minute to connect with your feelings. Close your eyes and imagine what your feelings looks like. Draw or paint them. Add words if you wish.

And the other offers: Write down one of your life mantras. Write it over and over again, but use different lettering styles each time.

Cool cards - thanks Dianna.

I was home from school today from what seems to be a bit of the flu (even though I was vaccinated in November), but I felt much better when I opened my mailbox to find four(!) envelopes with my name on them!!!

I got two sets of prompts, from MaxParadise and Smmarrt

Here are the ones from MP:

they are all so cute, I love the whole bunch! My favorite has got to be the life motto one--- I'm getting really into testing out new fonts, and it's making me wonder, what is my life motto? I love things that make me think! Thanks, MP!

And here are the cards from Smmarrt:

These prompts are all fantastic! They definitely make me think and bring on tons of ideas. The 'junk mail' one came a little too late, though. Just this Wednesday I saved the notes and salvaged all the stamps from the envelopes of EVERY ATC I've EVER gotten, and THREW THE ENVELOPES AWAY!!! Now that I see Smmarrt's use of them, I deeply regret that blunder Sad But I know better for next time, right? Save ALL the things! Thanks so much, Smmarrt, they are lovely!

On a side note, I too forgot to add info to mine, so just feel free to jot down whatever when you get them. Also, I decided to punch holes in my received cards and put a ring through them. I was scared at first, but rest assured that no art was ruined  Grin

For the shaving cream cards - you spread a thin-ish layer of shaving cream in a rectangle dish (big enough to fit a piece of paper or the paper you're using) and drop a few drops of food coloring. Then take a chopstick or pen and drag it through the shaving cream, "marble-ing" the colors. Put paper on it and leave for a minute or so. I rinsed mine which is why they are so hazy - you're supposed to just scrape off the shaving cream. It's totally fun. I think there is post on Craftster about it.
Here it is: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=9922.0

And I punched holes last night in mine and put them on a ring too - so fun to have such a small "to go" journal book to take with me!
