Okay, so I'm due in May with my first, a girl. I realize how important it is that she grow up knowing about all of the nerdy things I love, so I've started the preparation for the indoctrination process with this.

The outside, all folded up and ready to go on baby. Note how it looks like a standard fitted diaper?

Wings unsnapped, to show the snaps across the front and the beautiful contrast between the outer flannel and inner terry:

Laid a bit flatter on the table. What is this? The inside looks strange!

Oh my! It unfolds totally flat, so the whole thing is only two layers thick when you wash/dry it!

I used the Quick Snap Flap Wrap pattern, in NB size, with added leg elastic Cheesy It's so neat! I love how many straight lines there are, it's so easy to not screw it up. Plus, using only woven fabrics made it a cinch! I definitely recommend this pattern.

That's a really innovative diaper style (and great fabric), I would love to hear how it works after the babe uses it.
