ouch!  How old is he?  I keep waiting for my boys to get seriously hurt.  We had a really bad cut foot this past summer.  I figure with 3 boys broken bones are inevitibly in my future.

I got my socks in the mail and i am still finishing up my practice sock.

I'm still here! This is my first swap for over a year, and I forgot the whole 'checking in' thing Tongue

Finished the base monkey, working on the embellishments in between other projects Smiley

He's 14yrs old, almost 15.  He knew better, but, he did it anyhow.  I've told him, his 19yr old brother, and their dad not to jump on those shopping carts.  It never does any good (obviously).   Roll Eyes  He posted on his facebook page that stupidity hurts.  Yes it does!  Not only him, but, our wallets too!  His brother broke his arm when he was in middle school, acting stupid, doing what I told him not to do.

Have had some long work days and been away from the thread, only now finding out my partner's son has injured himself....

My youngest son was acting stupid today, and took off the tip of his finger, fractured it, and lacerated the nail bed which=him losing the nail.  Sad

Yowch!  Laceration AND a fracture???  Jumping on shopping carts?!?!?  My sympathies to both your boy and to you,  with all best wishes that he heals quickly.

Thank you waterbaby.  He had day surgery yesterday, and the doctor was able to stitch everything back together.  The doctor was afraid, that he was going to have to take the tip of the fractured bone off, and then pull the skin over the open area, therefore, somewhat shortening my son's finger.  But, thank goodness, he didn't have to go that route.  We also thought my son was going to have to go under general anesthesia, but, they were able to put him under conscience sedation.  That was better, because he recovered/woke up faster and didn't feel woozy/like crap all day.  He went back to school today.  Yay!!!
