I started crocheting about 1 and a half month ago, and I like it a lot, and do crocheting everyday, about 6 - 7 hours a day. But now I see my arms getting bigger, I do not gain any weight. I'm 27, before, even I fat or slim, my arm never get fat. Is crochet the reason why my arms get big? What can I do to make my arm slimmer? I don't want to stop crocheting!

I would call 6-7 hours a day a serious work out! You're building up your forearm muscles from so much crochet! It might help to stretch your arm muscles before, during and after crocheting and crochet less, or break up your crochet into several times each day instead of all at once. Don't worry though, because you're not body-building (purposefully hurting/tearing the muscle to make it bigger) your arms will find a happy place and stop getting bigger.

Hmm... can you imagine a crochet olympics? They would wonder if we were using steroids to build muscle/arm strength, and we would reply "No, I'm just using a J-hook"  lol
