IYP 22: Crafting with the Glitz! Signup Jan 12-27, Send March 4, 2013

I finished up an OWS claim this weekend.  I have one more OWS claim outstanding then I'm going to concentrate on plainpineapple's package.  I've started a few things but I'd feel a lot better if I could put something in the "finished" pile.

Was finally able to actually make a start today - and I'd say I'm about halfway done. I guess having everything planned and prepped in advance really made a difference! I hope to finish and send out in a couple days

 I thought of a small and whipped it up this weekend. Easy and cute. Then I decided on another project and got the supplies for it but ended up sitting in my recliner and watching X-Men and cuddling my darling cat. She needed the attention. Tonight I will be back on track!
 This month seems to be flying by! I swear we had a long crafting time and I feel that it is slipping thru my fingers!

Good news and bad. My partner in the JJ swap finally received. The bad news is that I can't find one of my cats. I'm so stressed. BUT I have already made progress on Kookies piece, got a little more done the other night. Tried something and decided I didn't like it, but that doesn't stop me. Making clothing / costume pieces always takes a lot of trial and error. No idea on the extra yet. I was considering a hat, but as you all know, Kookie is a hat making machine. LOL

This sucks.  I'm in a crafting slump. I just can't seem to make anything.  I'm forcing myself to work on stuff tonight though.  I've made similar things to this before and its always tedious until something works, then its exciting.  Hopefully I can get to the "works" part tonight then I'll fly!!!

Oh I hope you find your kitty! Mine went missing in the Fall and I went out at night to find him because that's when they are most active. My son and I brought a flashlight to look for eyes and BINGO! There he was around 10 door down, cowering out in the rain. Try the flashlight trick. Hope it works!


As for my progress, I decided to start all over and have made the first steps for all three of my paintings!

Lovesclutter, I am so sad to hear that one of your kitties is missing.  That's just the worst feeling.  You (if you're like me) sit around thinking horrible thoughts when most of the time they are sitting within sight of the house snickering at you.  I think the nighttime flashlight search is brilliant.
