IYP 22: Crafting with the Glitz! Signup Jan 12-27, Send March 4, 2013

I spent several hours in Hobby Lobby and Michaels today hunting and gathering.  The problem I'm having is narrowing down what I want to make for plaidpineapple since there are so many wonderful ways to define "decorations for a Harry Potter party", which is what I'm making for her.

On a side note, at some point in my crafty supply search I lost my phone.  I spent a ridiculous amount of time in the windy cold backtracking my steps searching for it.  After finally giving up and going home, my dear husband reached under the seat of my car (where I had looked a dozen times) ,pulled my phone out and handed it to me.  I'm going to go put my pj's on and drink a bottle of wine now.

I am sure I will love whatever you choose, but narrowing it down is half the battle isn't it
And I have lost my phone in the same manner-so many times I have lost count.  It has reached the point that I have hubby call my phone and I go room to room then out in the garage listening for the ringing.

The fabric I ordered for your items arrived just moments ago, yay!  Off to do some cutting.

Hiya all, just to let you know I am still here, I have finished Laura's package and am waiting for pay day to be able to post it.

I have one item done for my awesome partner Gozer.  I've had some other things I needed to finish up first.  The plans have been drawn for the second item, though.  I hope it turns out like I'm imagining it!!!

I've been slowly plugging away at the items for my partners. Both are close to being done but I'm letting the thoughts and notions stew before I finish them off and call it done.

I'm starting to feel a wee bit of pressure now that we're officially in February.
It's all totally in my head.
I'm on track.
I swear!

My problem is I tend to start everything at once and then work on the stuff here and there. Depending on my mood, that's what I decide to work on that day.
But then, when the items start getting finished it's like an avalanche of excitement.

That avalanche should occur in another week or so....

I started something for CMB's daughter, then started something else for CMB herself, while stalking her Pinterest.
So, I finished one part of the small thing for CMB.

I know in the end it will be just fine! I'll get into the crafting-flow and it will all be finished in no time!

No rush! There is a small chance I might change my mind again and start over  I still have a month to waffle and worry about making sure I am sending my best work to such an awesome craftster

 I finished the second piece for Kwality570 and put it where I could look at it. I showed two people and they liked it but I think it needs one more thing... I will be stalking out that item this weekend. It's driving me crazy!!! I have also arranged for a playdate of crafting so I can finish up my third.
