OK, I'm going to ask here as well as the other swap that I'm in and see if anyone can help!
OK Ladies, I am officially freaking out.  My sewing machine just started being grumpy.  The other day I did all sorts of thread sketching with ZERO problems.  Today I changed to a dual duty thread and after 20 seconds of stitching the bobbin thread makes HUGE loops and then proceeds to fully jam.  After I clear the machine, same thing, fine stitching for 20 seconds and then jam. I've made sure that the bobbin is not backwards and all of my tensions are the same as before.  Any advice?  (please please please)

Have you cleaned the bobbin housing? Mine usually messes about like that when it's got lint or stray threads in it.

Or a small piece of dust or thread in the bobbin or in the bobbing housing? So small you hardly notice it. I have had that before, it really messes things up! ( same as Kookie said)

Sometimes changing needles works for my machine too.

I really hope you get the problem solved! Sending you good vibes!

Thank you ladies!  I'm going to try both of those....I thought the bobbin housing was clear, but I will pull out the canned air and will try a different needle.  Either that or I will go and get the same weight thread that I used to sketch with and if it works, chock my machine up to a snob. Wink

YAY!  I got it figured out!  More user error than anything.  Thanks for all of the suggestions!

I'm now like 3/5 of the way done with chughe's large.  I just gotta keep chugging along on it!  I also made some leaps on another project, and some of my supplies that I've been needing came in this weekend as well!  Yay!

I'm 95% done on cackle's package, but we had a leak in our bedroom which meant I had to move all my craft stuff that was of course by the leak and now my apartment is in chaos! Ugh I hate working like this. But it will be done!! Hopefully today  Smiley

Thrifty's package is all set too, just need to finish up and then box them up for the PO!
