Of course I'm known for my tree of life pendants, so that's nothing new. Wink But this one is soooo pretty because it's extra luxe.

I used 14kgf wire and precious sapphire rondelles in a mix of colors. Most people think of "blue" when they think sapphire, but it really comes in every color under the rainbow. So this one has dark blue, cornflower blue, pink, red (technically "red sapphire" is known as "ruby!"), yellow and even a near-colorless white.

Sapphires are one of only four precious gemstones in the world (along with ruby, emerald and diamond) making them rare, expensive and cherished. The sapphire was called the "Stone of Destiny". Sapphires are said to contribute to mental clarity and perception and can promote financial rewards. It is the birthstone of September.

I love when I get to work with such high-quality materials! Grin As always, thoughts welcome!

All I can say is WOW. I have a love for trees of life, but your pendant is something else... :O.

Incredibly beautiful Smiley.

Thanks, janslow! I've been making them for years and I've made probably a thousand or so by this point. Grin Not sick of them yet though! Cheesy

Thanks!! I've made a handful in real gold, but it's tough since materials make it much more expensive. Everytime I wind up making and listing one in my shop, it tends to sell though so clearly there must be a market for them! I've also done some in a non-tarnish brass wire that looks gold for the more budget conscious, LOL I just tend to work in silver a lot since it's my personal favorite, but I'm always flexible since it's all made by hand. Smiley

Beautiful. I love all your trees and I love sapphires ( - my birthstone  Smiley  I have a favourite star sapphire which is pale grey.)  The gold looks so lovely too but I can imagine how expensive it is to work with.  Thanks for posting the picture.
