Monica, I'm glad you like the wreath.  It was so much fun to make and very relaxing.  It's funny though, that tiny french knot shamrock took longer to make than the entire wreath!

plaidpineapple:  I used a wire clothes hanger.  I did wrap the hanger with duct tape before I started tying the strips on.  The tutorial said to make the strips 6" long but next time I think I'll make them 8".  I love making them and I have a fabric stash like you wouldn't believe so if you put one on your list I'll claim you for one in colors you choose.

I received some awesome packages this week!

First from OWS 90 - Babalina claimed me for a sign for my Father-in-law Smiley she also added some asweome goodies!

Some GREAT LSU pillowsases that my boys have already confiscated!

And 3 BEAUTIFUL bars of CP soap Smiley

And from A2K - in OWS 91 - a really cool fabric envelope system! I love it!

The inside

The individual pouches - and some tags!

wow that fabric envelope system looks like it took a lot of work. Very impressive!

I love the signage for Pop's oil change service - is it really that slow?

St. Patty's wreath is too cool! I need something like that here.

Gavagai has the cutest crafted item of all - want to do a private swap? I send you anything you want and you send me that adorable baby?

I'm just blown away by the diverse talent on these boards - it sure is inspiring and motivational!

Love that St. Paddy's wreath, gamemom!  I did some lighted garlands like that a few years back, don't know why I never thought to make a wreath -doh!

That fabric envelope system is simply beautiful, A2K!  What a great idea!  My sewing skills are severely lacking but I have a sis-in-law who lives by Dave Ramsey - I might just have to put one of these on a future wish list!

What a fun sign, Babalina!  Is that all hand done?  LOVE it!

And I agree with Averia - sometimes we all need a baby-fix!  Especially when our babies aren't really anymore....  Smiley

I received from underthemountain this afternoon!  She made me a beautiful bird's nest pendant that even has a little mama bird charm attached to it!  She also sent a great package of satinish drawstring pouches - these are lovely - much nicer than the ones I've been able to source around here!  Thanks so much!

Hi Glasskicker!  Glad you liked it.  It was the first time I made a nest with only 2 eggs...I thought it needed a mama bird to round it out.  Smiley  I know you'll fill those satin bags with lots of your lovely jewelry!  Smiley

Underthemountain sent an amazing package! I love the penny necklace so much I had to wear it to stations of the cross on Friday night. She sent too many stamps! I pulled a few of my favorites out. Roxanne, you rock!
