I love this project & have my Nana's thimble too & never got the hang of actually using it. Sometimes I use it when I embroider, but most times it just gets in the way.

Anyone else have fingers of steel from embroidering/sewing without a thimble? It's one of my super powers! Cheesy

LOL! No fingers of steel for me, but it would be good. Every time I sew I am constantly pricking my fingers.  Cheesy

Each time I wear this necklace I get compliments and questions. Thank you I Sew Cute! Smiley

ooo...it's so pretty!  and hey!  I have that thimble necklace pinned too!!

I love your version though.  I never would have thought to use the suede, beads, and chain to make the necklace itself (I only ever saw the picture that was of just the thimble and dangles).  I may have to mix my next one up a bit!
