Eeks! Titaniumhip sent me a list of 10 totally different books, not on either of the lists! FIRST STEP: research the options! I have only heard of 2 of them! Smiley

Exciting!!

btw- if you haven't bought your books yet and are planning on ordering online, check out betterworldbooks. Seems like a neat place.

Paperbackswap.com is a good site too. You can post your books and get credits for free books.

Abebooks.com is a great site that gives you access to all sorts of booksellers. You can refine your search by country, hardcover/ softcover, etc.

bookmooch is good too - for swapping books - you get a point for every book you send to someone and then everytime you arrange to have someone send a book to you it costs a point (you can select not to send international if you want too). It's a cool system , though any new releases / super trendy books get mooched pretty quickly, it's pretty easy to get classics like the kinds on the lists we're working from.

I support the use of abebooks! My dad is a bookseller and uses them. You can support the little guy!!

And I just ordered Titaniumhip a copy of ___! How exciting!

Thanks for all the great book sites!  I tend to buy books from two small stores here in town but if I can't find what I am looking for then I am all about online ordering!  I ordered the book for my partner.  I chose the one on her list that I have read before..

I am going to start all my crafting this weekend when my kids aren't home.  I need to go and pick a few things up and then I am ready to go.

I may have ordered a "supplemental" book for my partner... a silly one that goes hand in hand with her listed book of my choosing.  And, it's perfect knitting weather here in Chicago, so I'll be crafting the day away!

If I had a needle and thread, fine as I could sew, I'd sew my true love to my side, and down the creek

I did the same "supplemental" thing--and the books just arrived!  I'm super excited to start reading!
