Yikes!  I feel like I really let this thread down!  I've been so caught up working on my house, I've done less knitting than usual, and it's been too hot to think of hats!

But now that fall is here, I've got to get going on Christmas gifts.  And my knitting group has a tradition of making a bag of caps for charity in the fall, so it's time to get cranking.

Here's the one hat I did work on this summer, the Admiral Anja's cap I mentioned many pages back, from Annie Modisett's History on Two Needles.

It was an easy pattern to follow, and I love the colorwork, but it did come out a little more pointed than I'd expected.  I mentioned to my sister that I hadn't realized the Admiral was a conehead....  But it's going to a friend who has a number of dreadlocks to tuck in there, so perhaps it works out well!

And now -- on to the next hat!

Yofi--great way to revive this thread!  That hat is wonderful...easy, you say...ha...I think it will fit dreadlocks wonderfully...I make pointy hats for my nephew-in-law to fit his hair! Grin

I am waiting for my hand to heal more and for cold weather before resuming my knitting...I hope to see more hats in the gallery soon!

I'm doing a couple test knits for hats, so I'll have a couple new ones within the week Smiley

What a fun pattern!  I love it!

I should be getting my new swift and ball winder any day now, so I can start prepping my yarns for fall and winter knitting!

I'm not sure when it'll be available, I imagine soon because all us testers finished already.

The designer is Alex Tinsley, so it should be showing up on her ravelry page soon: http://www.ravelry.com/designers/alexandra-tinsley

I love her hats, too! I've knit several of them, and have a few more patterns of hers waiting to be knit up, lol.
