awww---does he mind his ears covered like that?  My dog would freak since he hears everything--even under the ground!

The hat turned out...the plaid is just awesome!

Trying to rush thru a few hats for a 3 person birthday party Saturday; tried yet another variation on the slip-stich mosaic, felted wool toques!

Pre-felting:

I like the size and shape of them, but I wasn't 100% satisfied with the final results.  (Who ever is?) I liked that this pattern came out -- unfortunately, the plum color bled a bit more than you see in this picture.

I liked this pattern; looked a bit like roses (or strawberries!) on the vine.  But some of that detail got lost in the felting.  Perhaps tinker with the patterns....

Now I just have to decide if these are gift-worthy -- or if I have it in me to make two other things by Saturday!

Hope your all having fun with your projects!

I realize I forgot to post the pictures of the other felted hats.  Obligingly modeled by my co-worker -- who ended up claiming them both (and the kiddie cat hat!) for a Christmas present!

Yofi!!  they felted just lovely!  I love that blurred look...it really softens the design!  Definitely gift worthy!

The last on on your handsome co-worker is my favorite! Cheesy

Thanks!  I've got a few more hats I'm wrapping up this weekend to post -- I seem to have been on a real streak lately!

It's been over a week and he seems to tolerate it. Sometimes he gives a vigorous shake and it gets all messed up and sometimes all the way down around his neck Tongue But holy crap does he look cute in his matching set! My boyfriend often lets Jinx out wearing just the hat, which is, of course, hilarious!

Yeah, that first row really confused me, but thankfully it's just the same thing over and over until the decreases, so once you get the repeat down, it'll go fast Cheesy

Nice job, Yofi!

I'm working on a new hat:

Doesn't look like much yet, but the end result should be cute.
