I hosted a holiday crafting party with my be best gal pals in December and we had a whale of a time. The day was filled with christmas music, champagne bubbles, gossip, mess making, comfort food and best of all, crafting!!

Here's a shot of the hard working elves! Aprons were mandatory Smiley.

I host this party every year but usually we only attempt one or two projects. We were a bit more diligent this year and worked on a long list of gifts! These were mostly simple projects that made nice stocking stuffers or small presents for coworkers.

- Chalkboard Coasters
- Hot Chocolate on a Stick
- Tree Ornaments
- Cork Covered Containers
- Freezer Paper Stenciled Tea Towels
- Paper Clay Stamped Ornaments

For each project, I put all of the required supplies into baskets so we could grab them and get right to work. I also created some sample projects for inspiration.

Here are some of our finished products.

Freezer paper stenciled tea towels:

Hot cocoa on a stick:

Paper clay ornaments:

Burlap tree ornaments in-progress (that's me working hard on the right):

Burlap tree ornaments:

We had a blast and definitely plan to continue the tradition! I'm already thinking about projects to tackle next year Smiley.

It was fun - even for the people that aren't really into crafting. They could just drink wine and eat and supervise the rest of us Smiley.

To all past swap partners....If something I made you fell apart in some way, it would be helpful to me if you PMed me and told me about it.  Sometimes, I try new things, and if they fail, it helps me to kno

I so wish sometimes I had craftster friends in my area close by. This looked like a hoot. I can imagine if you hosted a Halloween party and really one for every holiday. LOL

looks like you all had a great time and were able to be very productive elves.  I really need to find the time to organize something similar next year.
