No, I haven't thought about doing the Cheshire Cat. Always loved that character, but I don't think I would want to try and create a grin like that!  Wink  =^..^=

I did some fur experiments using wool fiber when I first started needle felting and wasn't very pleased with the results so later when I tried doing fur again I used silk because it doesn't "felt/mat" as easily. The silk worked well, but tends to be very glossy and lacks the density of real fur. I only recently retried using wool for fur on these larger cats that I made and the wool works very effectively. I think I should have trimmed it a little bit shorter than I did and will be trying that on the next one I do (when I finally get time to do another one). =^..^=
