Cabaute,I wish I could claim the skill for the pretty background paper but sadly I can't.  Victoria Kamalova sent me a bunch in one of our private swaps and I thought I would share the love.  She really has a talent for making cool and very colorful backgrounds!

I got a couple of great cards from Homerof2 and gozer!

From gozer for my 'Interesting Word' theme:


gestalt the sum of the parts is greater than the whole. I LOVE it, gozer! The alcohol ink technique is beautiful (the picture doesn't show it, but the silver and gold bits just shine). I'm glad you're venturing out of your comfort zone; you did a wonderful job!

And from Homerof2 for my 'Languages' theme:


I love all the different greetings! Knowing how to say 'hello' in many different languages is always a good skill to have . I really love how you combined my 'interesting word' and 'languages' themes, with the dictionary definition. I love it, thanks, Homer!

I got two cards today from pilarfarmer She chose me for "wist inspired" and she was inspired by all the little mermaid stuff I had on there.

I received my Letter T today from cabaute.  She used a combination of a golf tee and tea tags, what a neat idea!

Ohhh, I love Ariel's hair, and the gnome, and those cats and the movable cat, and the cute little monster, and Lakshmi...lotsa good stuff going on.

WELL. I received from leather and lace. She claimed me for my Object head w/ Normal body theme! It's title: PersonaliTEA. I love how the teabag tag comes down and covers the word on the t-shirt. Very cute and clever. Also, I got a nice little paper extra.


THEN, Opalgryphon claimed me for the same theme and I am really beginning to love what people are doing for this theme in particular. This one is called: What's Your Sign? She used styrofoam printing to do it (she got the idea from my pinterest  http://pinterest.com/susieapple/). Very impressive. This is just my style.

KittyHerman and I did a personal swap and I mistakenly took one of her ATCs for part of it.  It was really for this swap, on my Things that happened in 1963 theme....

I adore all these expressions.  I can just hear the screaming now... I swear one of 'em is about to faint.

Last, my herb card from grapeicepop. She chose a bay leaf (which I always put in the stock pot....) and wrote all of its uses, alot of medicinal uses, for a background. Love it!  somehow I always left out the bay when considering herbs.

This nice surprise must have been delivered while | was away this weekend - a fabulous Paddington Bear from leatherandlace. Thanks, I love him! I'm also slightly amused that he's the first portrait-oriented ATC I've received, when AFAIK they're more common than landscape!
