I received an awesome card from blupaisan as well. It's for my World history theme, about a monkey that had to pay a fine for smoking in Indiana.  Cheesy haha.

Thanks so much.

I have another awesome ATC by blupaisan for you all!  It is for my extinct animals theme.

This is a Caspian Tiger.  It became extinct 50 yrs ago thanks to man encroaching on its habitat.  It was 10 feet in lenth!

I love how she included facts to go along with the ATC.  I love this ATC so much!  I am a huge nerd at heart and this ATC appeals to the nerd in me on every level!
Thank you blupaisan!  I hope that you will claim me again for my nerdy theme, sometime, maybe, perhaps, if you enjoyed it that is!  Smiley

blupaisan you're on fire! all three cards are great.  The smoking monkey card is wonderful, I love the style, you have a lot of restraint and a light touch.  Plus great drawing/painting skills.

I just opened an herbs card from corchen..... first, when I pulled the envie from my mailbox I actually squeeeeeed.  Look at how tiny it is!  I put a penny on it for reference...

Then, a gorgeous bit of paper explaining the card.... it has plantlife embedded in it.

And finally la piece de resistance...  her first ATC! (corchen is a newbie with us).  I think she did an awesome job!

I luuuuv texts within ATCs.   It is from a poem, "Muiopotmos, or the fated of the butterflie" The spelling looks like is a very olde poem indeed!
I love the framing, the bit of herb at the top, so meticulously cut out. Thank you so much, corchen!!  I think I will display it in my kitchen.

Yay, I'm glad that you like it! The little herb at the top was supposed to be a sprig of lavender, but I think I missed slightly with the colours - the purple was too dark. And unfortunately even with fineliners some of the detail disappears at that sort of scale. And I didn't think of adding a drop of lavender oil until it was already in the post... oh well!

Yes, the poem is from 1590, so extremely olde...
