This is my first ever attempt at making a gingerbread house and I am pretty happy with the result. I also made little gingerbread Christmas trees and gingerbread family too! We ate it on Christmas day and to my suprise it actually tasted as good as it looked! Now that I am a little more confident, next year I am going to be more adventurous!

Great job! Really cute and excellent for a first attempt. I love the classic lines, the roof tiles, and the fact that it was delicious to eat. That's very important. And I'm glad it's boosted your confidence and encouraged you to make another. Wonderful!

You must be very patient for all the details right down to the front 'security door'. Love the over the door decor!

Using a tray to set the house on was a great idea, wish I'd have thought of that
