I received an amazing and thoroughly thoughtful package from Glasskicker.  We were swapping for 2 of her lovely woven dishes for me to gift to Lana's hula kumu and wife and a dear mom/dad of her fav hula teacher, but Tracy is a spoiler and surprised me with a breathtaking tree plate and a wonderful resin kit and gears to play with!

these lovely woven plates (borrowed photo from Glasskicker since they are wrapped so nicely that I don't want to unwrap/rewrap them)

a killer tree plate in amber, sorry I couldn't get a better picture of it's loveliness.  It's dark here so I did a shot indoors.

3 cool tree ornaments.  Lana claimed the brown one!  LOL.

a great resin kit with gears LOVE!!  I can't wait to try out the resin!!  I've been meaning to, but now I have no excuse with such an awesome kit in hand.

Thank you Tracy for spoiling the heck out of me AGAIN!  I love everything and will especially treasure the tree plate!  Along with my woven plate and Mt. Fuji that you made me and all the neat pendants too!  Speaking of pendants...stay tuned for pics of those....

I just bought Susan Lenart Kazmer's book Resin Alchemy and it has me super excited about new uses for resin.  So I bought some Ice Resin but haven't had time to use it.  But if you can find that book for cheap UTM, it is awesome!  And super duper cool package Glasskicker Grin

kosmic girl and I did a swap back in  August for an inchie house and 2 ATCs. Sadly, it never arrived, but this came as a second try... And it was well worth the wait!
The house as it came...

And assembled, it is called The Winter Garden

Gosh, it's pretty.

I love all the details, especially the rounded roof, my first one ever to get.

Also love the gate and tree.

For cards, she made my theme The urn you will be buried in...

very cool title , doncha think? It is indeed the last thing she will ever wear. I adore turquoise, so I keep staring at this urn. I love the wavy bottom. And the embellishments behind are wonderful.
I leave the best for last!! On my cats theme...

His title in more ways than one, is Sir Percival Furbottom the third. Wow, talk about artistic skills!!  He is stunning! Thank you so much for such great stuff, kosmicgirl!!

brace yourselves . . .

i did a personal swap with one of my craftster buddies, mama24boyz, and i'm so tickled with what just arrived in the mail!

first is these skele gloves.  yup - there's an incognito skull crocheted into the design there.  super awesome.  i shall be sporting these all winter long.

and then there's this guy:

an african violet hippo!  you can see the cuteness, right?  i don't need to go on and on about how absolutely perfect he is and why you should all be pea green with envy?  good, because that would feel like gloating  Wink  and from what i understand, he is not the easiest hippo to put together, so might be that he will be an only child, lol.  or maybe he's a she?  needs a good name, either way.  i'll have to work on that.

and while my children *might* benefit from some of my crafty swapping, not this time.  this loot is mine all mine.

thanks, melanie - you spoil me!

I'm so glad you like them! And ya, the hippos was just hard cuz it's an open motif, so you gotta make it with ww yarn, then a tiny hook and work tight, so it goes slow, then joining, the best way is join as you go and it's giddily, but the outcome is so worth it! He may have siblings, but not any time soon! Lol. I thought I had pics of your awesome goodies you made us but I can't find them so I will retake and post.  Jo sent me 5 yes 5 amazing airbrushed shirts among other things, so I think I was the spoiled one in this swap!

I absolutely love love quilts, do you think an afghan is a fair trade for a quilt? I'd love to swap!

Wow, I really need to start at the beginning and go through this gallery, the first page had me ooohing!
I received a personal swap from spikefan and she sent me a minecraft hat (technically my 3rd from her, I love them!), batman hat/mask, and batman spike gloves.   I am so excited to give these to my nephews this Christmas!  The batman gear is hard to see the details in the pic, but trust, it's awesome!

Ewulotta and I did a private swap - I asked her to make me a tote and in turn I made two pillow cases for her from her wist.

Here is the fabulous tote bag! (Which keeps finding its way into my daughter's room. She knows quality when she sees it!)

And here is Lea explaining that this bag is hers and that she is quite big enough for it...
