I made this bra for a recent festival I had at my university, the theme was "The Lost City", which I took to mean Atlantis, so obviously..I went as a mermaid...
It was so fun to make. I got a sparkly bra from H and M for 7 then covered it in shells, fake pearls, mother of pearl beads and acrylic flowers. I used a glue gun to stick everything on. Took about an hour and a half (plus about two weeks of dreaming about what I was going to do!)

With hair and make up:

The braa!

That's stunning. And it looks brilliant on as well. How did the hot glue hold up over the night?

The hot glue was great, I'd definitely recommend using a glue gun. At first I thought of sewing but it would have taken so long, plus you'd need shells with holes in. A few pearls fell off but the bottom photo was taken after the night out, so you can seem most of the stuff stayed on!

Edit: I probably wouldn't wash the bra though!!

If the bottom pic is afterwards, it held up brilliantly. Grin
