Correct!  It can still look like a shoebox when it's complete, but it's not a requirement.

I just started a shoebox project yesterday! Phew - it's within the time constraints, although its now going to need to look a lot prettier to be entered for the competition... (getting out fabric now!) ... maybe I can make a matching item from the lid, because I only used the base.. A month to decide what to do with the lid

I'm feeling very inspired by the shoe-box loom... I like to see the box being re-used to create something pretty.. I think this will be my inspiration for the lid.

Only one entry allowed per member.  If your child is 13 or over, they can have their own account, though!

If you'd like your project to include more than one shoebox, that's totally okay!   One shoebox is the minimum requirement.

Use whatever craft supplies, materials, etc. you'd like to create your project.

I'm sure you can get a free shoebox at any store that sells shoes, or ask a friend, or even take a sneaky peek in a recycling bin!

Mare was quite right. I went by a Payless today and they were more than happy to give me a shoe box. The offered me to take as many as I wanted. No excuses.

Thanks ladies. Sweets said we could use more than one. LOL I like the idea of a mini house.
