I was an angel for the Ho Ho Ho swap. I loved that the person I had to angel for was into mid century modern style. She also loves bottle brush trees, so I decided to combine both and make this cute little car for her.

The tree is also glued to the car and the base is spray painted and of course, glittered.

I am going to make a bunch for me next Christmas.

I also made her a cute little ornament to hang or do whatever. The ornament inside is vintage. I took a plastic wine glass, cut off the stem then added a bead and base. I think I will be making more of these too.

There's not much in this world that can't be improved by either chocolate, bacon or glitter.

Both are so cute!  I love the idea of highlighting a special ornament by making it free-standing and showcased.  The car is my favorite, though!  I've been half-assed looking for a pickup to do similar with for a couple of years, but may have to start broadening my search to include something with fins!
