I have been drawn (pun intended) to sketching lately. My favorite subject to try to capture on paper with pen or pencil is my 7 yo dd. Here are a few of my attempts.

The two drawings on the left page against the left edge are of her (from 2 nights ago). Top way left was first, then immediately after the bottom way left. The others are just random (starting with the eyes).

The picture on the right is from earlier today.

I know I have a ways to go, but for someone who believe that she couldn't draw for 30 of her 32 years, I am happy with my drawing level and I am so excited to see how far I can go.

I have more photos from this current altered journal over on my flicker site. http://www.flickr.com/photos/readysetjet/sets/72157632440729562/ (I use to know how to do the cool link to just one word thing, but I am out of practice and too tired to try and remember)

From the last picture, your daughter seems very cute and serious.

yoopidou- She can be both serious and silly. I guess she moves less when in a serious mood and is easier for me to draw  Grin I hope that I can eventually just draw her from memory as I would love to draw a sleeping version of her without having to stare at her while she's sleeping.

I have some many pages to photograph - it's going to take a while to get caught up Smiley

Loving all the pages I'm seeing on here.

Edit:

Wow - I knew I had some photos to take, but just added 11 (yes - eleven!) pages to my master list.
As there are so many I won't re-post them, but you can peruse them here

Oh gosh I haven't worked in my journal. I think I might do that now. I need to take a break from important crafting and chill out a bit! Maybe I'll finish it tonight!

Minimum, so many pages, you make me feel I should work more on my journal. I love your page on patience.

Leapfeetfirst, I like the colors of your page.

LFF- I love the page. All the layers look great and I LOVE bubble wrap printing. One of my favorite "stamps" is a block of wood that I clued bubble wrap onto one side, shelf liner on another side, and other random things to the remaining sides. Makes for some fun (and cheap) stamping! The colors are gorgeous.
