I think I've gone overboard with the time/price thing but it's my own fault. One of the ideas is a little small and has to be hand-stitched so it's time consuming. If not for that, I'd be right on target :3

I crochet, so I can't stick by the time thing either. And all my yarn comes from stash, so that never applies to me. I go by size of the end product, and I try to gauge perceived effort - not how much work it took me, but how much someone else would think. The guidelines are just that - guides. It's designed to stop people spending 3 weeks solid on a hand stitched poppet, and getting a card with generic stamping done on it in return.

Relax a little - new swappers almost always go over points. As long as you aren't under, it'll be fine. We aren't a very strict swap in here.
