I have a Kenmore model 117-720 and have been looking for the owners manual for it.. It was my Mom's and she didn't have one for it.. It has been years since I used it so need it for the button maker part of it.. Don't wan t to mess it up trying to do it wrong..lol  Would appreciate any help in locating where to get one.. :-)

The 117 prefix indicates that it was made by White Sewing Machine Co for Sears. Surely it doesn't have a built in buttonhole. White hasn't made machines for Sears for decades. I didn't think they made anything except straight stitch machines while they were manufacturing for Sears.

You might check out sewusa.com for a reprint of the manual. I didn't see one for the 117.720, but there may be something close enough for it to be really helpful.

I know I found my manual online just google searching the model number, not sure if that will work for you though.
