A Mini Invasion of Glove Monsters

[Scribble Dolls]

My studio seems to have attracted an invasion of glove monsters.
It all started innocently enough...

About a month ago, this little guy showed up.


He seemed sweet and huggable. How could I say no to him?

I thought I was safe...until today.
Three more appeared today.









All four of them were terribly hyper cooped up in the house, so I took them outside to play together (and hopefully wear them out!).



Now I'm afraid to see what next month will bring...

The glove monsters are all about 6 and a half inches tall, and 5 and a half inches wide (counting their arms).
They were each made from a single glove.
Their faces were painted by me using acrylic paint and sealed with a matte varnish.

I've been having way too much fun playing with these little guys...and I unfortunately have quite an impressive supply of gloves to create more with.

There was an episode of Star Trek back in the 70's about tribbles. May want to look that up. They kept multiplying. This story reminded me of them. Great work as usual Scribbles. You keep me entertained.

Thanks, lovesclutter! I've seen the tribbles episode, and you're right...their story is similar! Oh dear, if these guys are part tribble, then I'm really in for some trouble.
