Hello,

My mother sends me Dilbert and Calving & Hobbes cartoon strips almost daily so I thought I'd try to make something for her with them on it using fabric but I can't seem to locate anything with their pictures or comic strips already on it.(except Dilbert's official website merchandise, and there's no way I'm paying those prices. Is there an inexpensive way to create a decent fabric that someone would actually wear out? Would I have to be a good artist? Cause I'm not LOL

Thanks in advance,

Puzzeling

You could scan some of the pics and print on printable fabric http://www.overstock.com/Crafts-Sewing/Printed-Treasures-Printable-Fabric-Sew-on-Sheets/3318866/product.html or t-shirt transfers and make something that way.

That's a great idea! I didn't even know printable fabric existed! So Kewl!

Hopefully by the time I finish it I'll be able to upload the pics for you to see. I'm already half way done with a Winnie Pooh and Gang Sweatshirt. I think it's going to be great. My hubby, on the other hand, just keeps looking at me askance and asking if I'm sure this is what I was meaning to do...

Thanks again for the great idea!
