So the pants are a smidge snug  but since this year is about getting slimmer and trimmer, I will finish them and put them in the gift bag for when I reach my first goal of 10 pounds off - I lost 3 pounds last week, so only 7 to go:)  I'll head into town early tomorrow and buy a new pair of dress pants, should be able to get a pair that's long enough but cheap enough to wear for only a month or two.

Ooh! I've just spotted this thread. I think I'd better join 'cos I'm rubbish at doing things for me. Even though I have just achieved one and I'm working on another, they're there because I wanted/needed them several months ago, but got so caught up in Christmas crafting for everyone else that nothing for me got done for the last 4 months of last year!

This year's wish list:

• Mushroom Basket (achieved!)
• Hairband (also done)
• Light Quilt
• knickers (only if I get the means to sew stretch materials)

Erm, I'm sure there'll be more that I add onto the list, but I can't think of anything right now.

January - Mushroom basket . And I finished my hairband too
February - nothing much finished, but a good start made on my quilt.
March - Knitted necklace (I'm not really impressed with this and might give it away if I can find anyone who wants it, but I did learn knitting with beads and that's what was really for me), a box to keep my cup-a-soups in, some washing tabs (these are delicately scented and I have a real sense of achievement in making them) and a stick vase, which I hadn't intended to make, but which I love.

I'm halfway done with my first "me" project of the year! I just finished a sock I started on New Year's Eve. Now I need to go do some more chores before I can reward myself with casting on sock #2!

I hope its ok that I am joining a little late. I hope that I get all of these done.
Here is my list.
1.Finish my Scooby-Doo quilt that I have the top together.
2.Finish the top for my new years eve mystery quilt that I have all the blocks for.
3.Finish the blocks for the beginners mystery quilt that I had started a while ago.
4.Do at least 3 of the 12 Doctor Who embroidery patterns.
6.Make a pencil bag.
7.Make the bag using the MN shop hop fabric from 2011 I think.
8.Make some wash rags.
12.Make 247 hexagons for a quilt top.

Finished
5.Make my costume for the zombie crawl in April. Can't wait till they do this again.
9.Make a tampon bag with "Shark week is back" on one side and a shark on the other. Yay got one done at least ten to go.
10.Sewing machine cover. Yay got an other thing done  
11.Make a hoopla. All done with this

Its totally fine to join anytime throughout the year!  Late comers can do as many projects as they are able, do twelve or not as long as you make some fabulous things for yourself
