I frogged the Norobi belt tonite and started again with a double strand.  It was sooo curly with just a single that I doubt it would have laid flat as a belt even after blocking.  Liking the thicker result!

I'm in the 50 in 2013 craftalong, but when I look at my list almost nothing is for me. I think it's about time I keep something, so here goes:

Intended projects and WIPs:

1. Black/rainbow boucle hat

OMG I am so in. I actually made a list privately over the holidays for this exact reason, and said I need to stop making stuff to sell, gift, or swap. I've finally resolved to keeping ONE of my items that I make for sale, but I have the same problem, not much here to show for myself or things to enjoy at home. My husband makes the same comments, lol!
I wanted to do the 50 things but that craftalong is SO huge, and overwhelming, I tried it once and never got very far. This is much more doable and I like that it's a smaller crowd.

1. New coin bra for bellydancing
2. Ghawazee coat or Turkish vest for dance (I've been phobic of that pattern and I need to just do it)
3. Wall art for Molly's room (Painting of squirrel tea party!)
4. Wall art for Evan's room
5. Finish setting up my new craft room and add an artist altar
6. Pot holders or trivets
7. Bag or purse
8. Halloween decoration
9. Christmas decoration (upcycled tree skirt into bunting)

I like the 50 things craftalong mostly for keeping track of what I've made in the year-I am terrible about taking pictures or keeping a list and its nice to see it all together in one place   Although I haven't managed to hit 50 things yet (even though I'm pretty sure I've made that many things) because I keep forgetting to document....

This little fella was a complete surprise!
Went to first ceramics lesson tonight, and was just playing with a lump of clay when this fella (or is it a fellette? not sure yet) started to appear. It really is for ME - I <3 dragons, and the class is my space too

I have four days...count 'em...four days off for the first time in forever and I'm going to make me something!!

I got my black pants about 1/2 done:) hope to finish tomorrow morning since I need them for work on Saturday.  I work at 11:45 on Saturday morning, so they need to be finished no later than 10am.

Also getting my craft room and bedroom organized, the goal this year is to keep them tidier so I can accomplish more and not be rushing to finish things as my nieces arrive for holiday things.
