12 crafty things for ME along 2013!

If you are anything like me and have nothing to show people when they ask to see what you make, this is the craft along for you!  One of my crafty goals for 2013 is to make something for myself every month and KEEP it

So its very simple, just post your project that you make for you and you alone every month.  It can be anything from art to clothing to something that just makes you smile, as long as you crafted it.  You have all month long to do it and can post at anytime.  You can make a wishlist or wing it, just have fun crafting for yourself.  Jump in at anytime!

This is an AWESOME idea! I never have anything but pictures of my stuff to show... I think this will also be less intimidating than the list of 50 (which I failed miserably last year). Here's my list!

I have a few mostly involving the velvet from the dresses that are now way too big for me and the material from my old calico skirts

1. A cowl scarf from a dress
2. A throw from velvet pieces
3. A Tessha Moore patch bag from calico (Halloween patterns)
4. An embroidered hoopla on Halloween calico from old skirt material
5. Sheer flowing skirt from material that use to hang on our ceiling
6-7-8. Wreaths for the front door
9. Beaded chandelier for house
10. Throw pillows from velvet

I love this idea. I never craft for myself and have very few things around the house that I've actually made.

1. tote bag with typewriter fabric
2. lap blanket - knit and maybe a quilted one too
3. some kind of knit head or neck wear

Tha list:
1. Final project lace scarflette. 25% done. only 6 hours in! 50% done, 12hours. 75%done, 15 hours in, yarn spun!
2. Blanket from old jeans and old receiving blankets (i`ve got a lovely stack of squares going!)
3. Dress from old bed spread
4. Slippers
5. Enough yarn for a sweater
6. A sweater made from above mentioned yarn
7. A Land Skin
8. Felted tree skirt (Dang. Another big one...)
9. Magnetic curtain for the front door window.
10. One of those plastic bag holder thingies....
11. No-Fuss Shade-Loving shawl?  I guess... Casted onFebruary 13th
12.

I'll need to think of a few more things...  Small things.  Those are all pretty huge.
