very nice!  I love the fingerless mitts...I keep several pair in my office so I can use my keyboard without my hands getting cold and stiff!

I forgot my reading glasses today...are they crochet?

Yes, they used a stitch that was new to me, the extended single crochet, for the hand portion. Used a free pattern I found on-line: Brooklyn Fingerless Mitts. It was easy to adapt to my larger wrist and hand size and the stitch reminds me of knit lace stitches.

Nice knitted stitch on the fingerless gloves, they look good. Is it for inside or outside?

They're for inside. My family likes much colder indoor temps than my hands or feet can stand. Socks and slippers take care of the feet issue, but my hands were still a problem. That's why I decided to make these - - purely self-defense! Smiley

Belladune - they really didn't take very long or require much concentration. They're simple enough that I was able to crochet them in just a couple of hours of evening tv watching with the family.
