How adorable, Lunamadre. Are they British squirrels?
Ha! I don't know, I guess they could be! We have tons of squirrels here at my house, it's very woodsy. So I imagined this here in Erie, but I suppose they could be British as well. It makes their imagined conversation a little more charming. Wink

Lunamadre!  That's awesome!  Way way better then dogs playing poker. I love it!
lol! I'm making a painting for my son next, I was considering rabbits doing something. Maybe I should have them playing Old Maid, haha....
I added a bit more to my painting, I looked at my reference photos and realized I forgot their whiskers! So I added whiskers, a few minor details to the fur, and fixed the horizon line. (I realized later that it was wonky and it bothered me.) Then I hung it up in my daughter's room before I started overkilling it and getting too fussy. Thanks everyone. Smiley

Skatergirl, I've never done any quilting, but that looks interesting, although a bit maddening. I'm not sure if I would get addicted to it or frustrated! I can't wait to see more progress pics and see how it turns out.

Kittykill, that good times jar is such a great idea, especially reading it on New Year's. What a nice tradition! I started a gratitude journal over the summer and loved it. Once I had my baby in September it got kind of forgotten, I should really get back into it. I was surprised how much more "present" it made me in everyday life, and more positive.

I can't believe I'm actually on the monthly schedule, 3 projects done and it's March! Wait a minute. Does that mean we're actually a quarter of the way through the year already???

What a cute painting!  Squirrels having tea makes me smile!

skatergirl--what can I say?  Such a simple thing like a hole punched in the paper sure makes things easier...it was a "duh" moment for me...I am doing hexxies with some of my food fabric collection...it is my first time making them but it has been a while since I started and I have no memory of how I am doing it...hopefully I will remember your trick when I start it up again this spring!

Wow, such creativity in here!  It is inspiring to hang with you multitalented ladies Smiley

My craft for March:  I am tickled pink with this cowl/ dickie/ scarf/ fabric necklace that I've made from a sweater.  It satisfies my craving for a scarf that isn't bulky, repurposed an unused garment, and prettifies (new word! lol) a plain top with a touch of ruffling.

*Runs to strike out a craft in my list posted somewhere on a previous page... Smiley

I finished my duffel bag, the fabric's a little to delicate for the original purpose, so I plan to make another one with some duck canvas I bought today.

I think tomorrow I might make myself a new spring blouse.

Looking for Sophia the first fabric and Frozen fabric (preferably flannel, but would settle for cotton) and Phoomph.  I'm in Canada and the companies are that I could order from charge $20-$30 shipping, so if anybody can find some and wants to swap/sell, I would be eternally greatfull.

JS, Cute warm fabric "necklace". It does perk any sweater.

Belladune, your scarf seems like a lot of work. I hope to see the results soon.

It's a really simple lace pattern, but I'm so afraid of screwing it up I check back every 10 stitches to make sure I'm not yarning over where i shouldn't. Roll Eyes  But the results will be great. I will have a FO that is perfect, instead of one I look at and go  "oh, there's a mistake. .. and another... and another...."  Like the shawl I did last year....
