We do Secret Santa since we do so many homemade gifts...this year my daughter's project for her secret santa was so good, I had to share it.  We talked through the project but she did the whole thing herself.  This is for my niece who lives on a farm and has pigs and chickens so she did a drawing with my niece and the animals playing in the rain. She used only blue and green crayons to simulate the rain and taped paper on the umbrella to block the crayon from the umbrella.

I love raising crafty children!

What a truly great project!  I love the rain colors, and the drawings - it will be very appreciated in its new home, I am sure!  You have one crafty kid!

I've seen the Melted Crayon Project done so many times and usually with mediocre-at-best results. This, however, is something wonderful and special and really, really wonderful. Your daughter did a wonderful job.

I love the little drawing- even as fabulous as it is, the melted crayon isn't even the best part in my opinion! This is a great piece of art, which I'm sure will be highly prized! Great job!  This rocks!

That's wonderful - I really like how the umbrella was blocked out.

Wow, what an idea! Your daughter surely has a piece of fantasy, not to mention she's a beautiful lady too.
