I haven't posted up in a while and realized I hadn't added this guy up yet! I made him for Kwality570 for the Woodland Creature and Enchanted Forest Swap. I had a lot of fun making the owl purse. I didn't use a pattern and it was one of my first real attempts at machine embroidering one piece of fabric over another.
The strap is adjustable. Ever since I figured out how to do that I love it. Nothing is worse that a purse with a strap that is a hair to short or long.  Tongue

I also made a coin purse to go with it but not be too matchy.  Wink

Thanks for checking them out! Grin

This bag turned out so well!  I bet Kwality loves it!  And the coin purse - I love turquoise and orange together!

Oh!  I like the purse.  Great design - shape, appliqued accents and the fabrics you chose.  Did you use an actual embroidery machine?
