This was my big knitting project in 2012, a throw blanket for my sister-in-law.  Made from this pattern: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/sock-yarn-blanket made with Kroy Efx sock yarn and size 4 needles.
Its a more restrained companion to the patchwork blanket I made for my sister, who requested a blanket in Scottish colors.
The whole thing is 42x 60 a good size for snuggling on the couch and reading or watching football.

And its lined with a nice weathered plaid flannel for extra warmth!

I really love this blanket, and enjoyed the process.  Id love to have one myself, but I dont think I have the patience to ever make something this big with needles this small again!

I love that soft coloured wool - like a heather mixture.  The shades are so beautiful and shimmer in the diamond shapes. Thanks for sharing it.
