These are my christening rings, or welcoming ceremony rings. Both of my sons had them at their welcoming ceremonies and I am often asked to make them for friends. I even made one for a wedding last year and needed to make a triple hoop with 100 gold and white fae folk (believe me that wasnt fun at the 99th fairy !)
One hangs them in the cerebratory room and when guests leave they cut a fairy down to take with them.
My children go to a Steiner school, and the story of birthdays is that each child travels down the rainbow bridge from the golden meadow to their loving parents. - hence the fairies are rainbow fae folk,
