jfer007 -- I would never have thought of making bows out of felt.  Very creative.  And using all those little bits adds up in the end.  Baby steps.

I wouldn't have thought of the felt bows either - they're cute

I like the stitchmarkers - I have a handmade pair from a swap and I love them

Because of two major surgeries taking up half my year then a friend staying in my art room for the last 2 months of the year I really didn't get to do many crafts or stay organized so I hope we do an organize and destash for 2014 because my goal is not to go to an art store or buy any art supplies for the first 4 months of the year

A friend of our was lamenting the lack of boy pants available for her small man, she has ONE pair of faves for him in boring brown.

I stole them and ran away home for enough weeks that I got the desperate call to return them right now or else! LOL. I had taken a shirt of his papa's that had a stain on it too so I whipped up a pair out of that (I cheat and use the hem of the shirt as the hem of the legs, works great!). I wanted to make more but I didn't have any big pieces of jersey so... I just made some, pieced together from the scrap bin.

He's pretty happy so 2 weeks with no pants all forgiven Smiley

Well, darlin...just make you a pair.  Grin

I use the hems of things, too. {Another self-appointed cheater, here.} Only, I use sheets for drapes, and use the top hem of the sheet for the drapery bottom, and then just seam up the edges and top casing. The deeper hem at the bottom helps to keep the weight of it even on the rod.

You did a wonderful job. And he will certainly look better than in just basic brown. Still trying to organize what I wish to destash from. But I have not been buying much for any of my projects. Just glues, and trims, and such.

Happy DeStashing!
