Hey all! Wow, CLM you really are a crafty little monkey!! I bow to your craftiness and perseverence lol!
Also, I'm loving all of the undies and anthropologie has nothing on you! Love all of the hats adn that cute litle pair of outfits Cheesy.

I actually have some destashing progress to report. The first is a yarn destash. My 6 y/o is in kindergarten right now and she told me she wanted some fingerless gloves for when she would be at recess so her hands wouldn't be so cold. I let her rummage through my yarn and she picked out this fantastic aqua multitoned stuff that I've been just holding on to and drafted a pattern for them and hooked them up. She calls them her mermaid mits. Not that she'll use them in our high of 93 today. *sigh* At least they are set for the fall/winter!

The other item is an upcycle. Years ago I bought this dress. I loved the patchy look to it but not the triangle top. Well, a strap finally broke and the whole thing spent three years waiting for me to fix it and I finally did! I cut the top and straps off, sewed down the raw edge and turned it into a fab skirt. Cheesy hooray!

And I have two things that just need to get a final wash and iron and one skirt that just needs a waist band and zipper. I'm hoping to get that done tonight with more progress to show tomorrow.

Dulcet- if you re-attach all the circles then lay it on a backing you can do a straight stitch through rows of circles. The yo-yos will be recognizable, re-enforced on the backing will keep them together, and it will have a little texture.

I whipped up a few "stow & go" reuseable bags for part of my boys Teacher Appreciation gifts this week.

Those bags are so cute! I'm sure their teachers loved them.

I have not done any de-stashing of MY stash, but I have knit 4 ruffle scarves out of my mom's stash. It's something.  Smiley

Cute bags!

I used up some more cotton yarn and made a doll. Its Kaylee from Firefly in her Shindig dress!

Oh, I love that patchy skirt!
What an adorable dolly!
Those bags are wonderful, I love colourful stuff.

Pics soon, I've been on a serious crafting binge this past few days. Unbelievable volume of stuff created, I'm exhausted but so satisfied.

I have a bin of ribbing, multiple colours, up for grabs ,if you have a suggestion about where to donate it please let me know and if you could make use of it please send me a private message Wink. I was using it for the necklines of tshirt bibs but don't think I'm going to make any more of those. They are a bit labour intensive and don't exactly sell like hotcakes so I'm giving that one up.

Also, I need a belt for a gorgeous antique kimono a friend brought back from Japan for me. It's SERIOUSLY LONG! LOL! Anybody know how to make an easy to use version, something that I can throw on without too much fuss so I can wear that thing as an actual robe? Or know a way to alter this thing so it isn't taller than I am, ha! If anybody will know it's you girls Cheesy. Thanks!

If you do not want to cut the bottom of the kimono off to a shorter length to suit your height, You could try tying and then pulling up through the belt, making it blouson...personally, for a robe, I think it will become a pain to do when you just want to throw it on and go...

I wear a summer kimono as a robe (yukata)...I like them long but not that long...the belt I use is made from the same fabric...long and skinny...

texscrapper--those are fabulous teacher gifts!

Wow it's been quiet on here for a few days! Everyone must be gearing up for summer Cheesy

I love the stow and go bags! Such fun colors, too. Cheesy I'm also loveing the Kaylee doll - awesome crocheting skills.

So I was thinking of doing a Steampunk swap sometime this summer! If you guys think you might be interrested, take a look at the prompt over here http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=423909.0   . I, myself, will be using a ton of stash in this.

Have a great week/end everyone!
